LifeGroups are a place to stir one another to love and good works through sermon-based discussion and biblical community. Participation is designed to create an environment that promotes authentic friendship and meaningful spiritual growth. Everyone involved should be encouraged, challenged, and supported as they take the next step in their faith.

The interlocking circles represent many broken people who are still separated from God, but now in community. They are a LifeGroup, tightly knit together. While they still live in the not-yet of this world, they are together, helping one another find joy in Jesus.

What am I committing to?
A LifeGroup consists of about 12 adults and meets in a home during the week. When you register, you can request a time or location that works best for you. They meet during 7-week sessions 4 times a year. When you register for a LifeGroup, you are committing to one 7-week session. At the end of every session, our LifeGroup team rearranges as needed, so you have an opportunity to continue with your group, switch groups, or step back for a bit.
What about my kids?
Childcare is provided in various ways based on the specifics of your group. When you fill out the registration form, you will answer some questions about what would work best for you.
Can I join a specific group?
You will be asked during the registration process if you’d like to be in a LifeGroup with someone specific. A LifeGroup is also always welcome to invite someone to join their group at any time!
What if I have needs I'm not sure a LifeGroup can meet?
Please contact a pastor or staff member! While we work hard to create spaces and times that work for most people to be a part of a LifeGroup, we recognize that some life situations don’t fit best into LifeGroup ministry, and we’d be glad to talk about other options for getting connected at Heartland.

Meet our LifeGroup Team
The health of LifeGroups ministry is vital to us. As we raise and equip members of the congregation to lead groups, we believe it is still important to have shepherds overseeing the entire ministry. This group of pastors and a director exists to provide support, coaching, and encouragement to group leaders. This group is also responsible for ensuring all our groups remain unified with the direction and vision of the rest of the Heartland body.
