The Great Connection- Teaching Kids to Know, Love and Serve Jesus!

Welcome to Heartland AWANA. We exist for the sole purpose of reaching kids with the gospel and engaging them with lifelong discipleship so that they may know, love and serve Jesus Christ! This is accomplished through an environment that is highly scriptural and relational. Through AWANA we offer curriculum ranging from Pre-K (1 to 2 years before Kindergarten) to 6th grade which encourages them to memorize, learn/comprehend and apply the Bible. Lessons, games, crafts and other activities make up the fun that is AWANA.

This year comes with unique challenges. Our focus is to keep all of our volunteers and clubbers safe throughout the year. In order to do this, we have put in additional safety measures to respond to the climate, culture and impact the COVID-19 disease has on our program. We are also offering a hybrid approach to Awana allowing families and clubbers to participate in-person or online.

For in-person experience, we will meet on Wednesday nights, Sept 2nd through May 5th, 2021 in our north building (1620 19th Street) from 6:30-8:00 pm. Childcare is provided for volunteers. You may register by clicking here.
