Welcome to Heartland!
We can’t wait to meet you! Our welcome team will greet you with a smile and answer any questions, coffee will be ready in the foyer, and the Word of God will be proclaimed during the service.
The heart of the Heartland community is our Sunday morning worship service. Expect to study the Bible, greet one another, give generously, and sing praises loudly to God with a fully-engaged heart and mind. This is who we are and what we do, and we’d love to have you join us.
We gather on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 AM.
Our hope and prayer is that you experience the presence of God and a warm welcome from the Heartland community.
You’ll discover that we are a diverse group with people of all ages and a variety of religious and non-religious backgrounds. What brings us together each week is our shared desire to find life and joy with God through Jesus, His Son.
You should expect to see lives being changed, because it is happening in this community—not by us, but by the power of God—as we enjoy God’s presence and celebrate His grace and mercy together.
That being said, please do not expect to find perfect people at Heartland. There has only ever been one perfect person—Jesus—and we worship and pursue Him because He alone changes hearts and lives.

What should I wear?
Heartland is a casual, authentic environment. You can wear jeans and a t-shirt or your Sunday best. Most of us dress for comfort. We want you to feel comfortable, too.
What should my kids do?
We love it when whole families join us for our worship service – even if they are a little wiggly and loud. We do also provide childcare for kids through preschool during our 9:00 service and classes for kids of all ages during our 10:30 service. Where is Heartland located?
Our building is on the south edge of Central City, NE on the west side of Highway 14. Our address is 3208 17th Avenue Central City, NE 68826.
